# Switching operational mode in URSim with Profisafe

Hi,  
I’m trying to prepare a new robot system an got a backup from an existing robot. For that reason I restored the backup in URSim controller. Now I’m not able to switch over to manual mode for checking the setup and the program. Is there any workaround?

Can you just turn off PROFIsafe/Profinet in the fieldbus section?

It would be great if I could do so. Unfortunately everything is disabled after restart due to the auto mode. If the Profisafe-option is disabled, the installation will not be loading.

Can you just create a new Installation, copy whatever TCP, payload, etc information you care about, and then just “Save As” it as “default” to overwrite the broken installation?
