# RTDE Errors when running programs remotely

Hello. I am completely new to UR and robotics. I am trying to get the RTDE set up so I can remotely monitor urp programs and build exception handling. I have created the xml, I have the .py program, and the urp. When I try to remotely initiate the urp I get an error in python regarding the xml I have named “out”. Something like "KeyError: ‘out’. I have no idea why this is happening. Has anyone seen this?

It will help a lot if you can show the Python script that you’re using, along with the exact error message that you’re seeing.
