# New Product Alert: e-Series Control Box SCB Change

Please be notified about the Product Alert released by Universal Robots regarding an electronics hardware change to the e-Series Control Box Safety Control Board (SCB).

The Product Alert is created to address the following concerns:

- SCB hardware change and its impact on the PolyScope software version
- Solution to the hardware-software compatibility and how to address serviceability, repairs, and maintenance of the installed robot base at the customers
- List of Control Box serial numbers updated with the SCB hardware change to keep the traceability
