Continuing the discussion from [Robot Control 30003 "FreeDrive" not working as intended](https://forum.universal-robots.com/t/robot-control-30003-freedrive-not-working-as-intended/20879):

the same problem: the robot is in remote mode and connected using tcp 30002 port. we send “freedrive\_mode()” and the robot enters the freedrive mode then immediately exits?

so how to use the freedrive\_mode in robot remote mode?

Hi,
I’ve had that problem before and managed to fix it. I sent, however, the “freedrive\_mode()” through the 30003 port in the form of a script. Never had any problem ever since.
