# ERROR C207A0 cb3 robot

Hello, I have a client who is experiencing the error shown in the images. Does anyone know where the error originates from and how to solve it? Thank you.

Is he using EtherNet/IP? It’s a common misconception that EtherNet/IP is the same as TCP/IP.

EtherNet/IP is a data communication protocol such as PROFINET/MODBUS and should only be enabled if a device is connected to the controller and is communicated to/from by the robot. 🙂

EDIT: If he is indeed using that protocol, then the issue is somewhere on the other end, since there are no settings in the robot related to EtherNet/IP.
