Hello,

I am working with a ur5e which is currently working in remote control only operated using push buttons associated with different digital inputs.

When the robot encounters a protective stop i am not able to resume or restart the program without using the teach pendant which is inaccessible.

Is there a way to enable the robot without using the tech pendent or introducing additional component such us a plc, which is also undesired.

JG

I don’t believe there is. It’s either TP or PLC. 🙂

You could leverage the Dashboard Server via a URCap or use a computer with a program like Socket Test to send the unlock protective stop command. Both these solutions use additional components, which as you say is not desired. Otherwise @efn is correct. No way to do it.
