Hello,
I am developing the bolt-tightening system by using UR10e and Atlas Copco’s electric driver system.
I watched the following page.

[https://www.universal-robots.com/plus/products/atlas-copco/power-focus-ecosystem-pf6000/](https://www.universal-robots.com/plus/products/atlas-copco/power-focus-ecosystem-pf6000/)

Is there something that has more information on this?

Hello @jun.takamatsu,
I also tested some screewdriving application using Atlas Copco stuff. There is a manual for connection/usage.

[pf6k\_urcap\_manual.pdf](https://forum.universal-robots.com/uploads/short-url/uHEcesDeFTr4Tvca6DMY0IHBRRx.pdf) (1.1 MB)

Nevertheless, I think you should also contact Atlas Copco’s technical staff, because configuring the controller and programming the screwing procedure is not as easy as it seems.

Good luck! 😉
Wojciech

Hello @wojciech.goral ,

Thank you very much for providing me with the useful information.
It looks like we can now connect URCap and the electric driver.
By the way, do you have any experience with controling the driver by ROS via URCap?
Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,
Jun

Hi @wojciech.goral ,

Thank you for your quick response.
Sorry to keep bothering you.
Do you know where I can find URCap for the electric driver?
I would like to see the source code for looking for the hint for controlling via ROS.

Best regards,
Jun

You should definitely contact Atlas Copco. This is a Universal Robots forum, and Atlas Copco is not associated with UR (except for making 3rd party products). 🙂

You are so not wrong about Atlas being harder to program than one would think from the industry standard equipment. Top 3 worst industrial equipment to setup.
